Ways to support the Big Brothers Big Sisters Mission:

Donate Your Time

Time would be an important and useful contribution for you to make to Big Brothers Big Sisters. You can:

  • Become a Big Brother or Big Sister (Big)
  • Help recruit Bigs
  • Invite us to speak to your service organization, congregation, or club
  • Volunteer on the Board of Directors
  • Volunteer to work at a fundraiser
  • Sign up for Bowl For Kids' Sake or Mardi Gras Putt
  • Help recruit other people to contribute

Pledge Your Financial Support

Our agency holds several fundraisers throughout the year, but in addition to income derived from these events, we rely heavily on individual and corporate donations to fund our programs. Here are just a few ways for you to help financially:

  • Donations Several giving options are available.
  • Sponsor A Match Learn more about this program for corporations.
  • Bowl For Kids Sake Sponsor or contribute to this FUNdraiser!
  • Event Sponsorship (credit given to sponsor fundraisers, group activities, and other special events)
  • Agency Sponsorship (credit given to sponsor newsletters, recruitment campaigns, etc.)
  • Contribute to United Way. Big Brothers Big Sisters receives funding each year from the Gateway United Way. In some cases, you may even be able to have your donation go directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clinton.

    • Donate Goods or Services

  • A gift of property, services, or another tangible object that benefits the agency is called an "in kind gift". We have a Wish List of things that we need or want.

Enhancing your Gift

Remember to ask your employer if your company has a matching gift program. If so, request a matching gift application and send it along with your contribution.

Remember...most gifts are tax-deductible.
